You’re from New Zealand. Do you think Antipodean fashion differs from American fashion?
I’m not really up with current fashion, so I can’t really answer that question very well, but I don’t think we’re too dissimilar. I expect Australians probably show more skin, given the climate. I actually think, generally, that New Zealanders dress far too casually — but then, I just think every day warrants a fancy frock!
You loooove thrifting (or ‘op-shopping’ as kiwis say). What are your best thrifting tips?
Learn some simple sewing so that you can repair or transform your scores as necessary. Also, take time to look through the nightwear section — it can yield some unexpected goodness!
If you could give your 16 year old self advice, what would you say?
Shaving the underside of your hair is just too hard and masculine for your face.
Your perfect day. What would it look like?
A little bit blurry after a champagne breakfast — followed by being driven around for some nicely sozzled opshopping, a fabulous lunch and an afternoon nap to get over it all — all with my man G in tow!
