The main component of Veronica's jewelry line consists of tagua nuts. These nuts are indigenous to the rainforests in South America. They are sustainably harvested and are a renewable resource that helps preserve the rainforests. Tagua nuts are dried, cut, shaped and dyed by local craftpersons in South America. Veronica then purchases these beads in various shapes and colors and creates each finished jewelry piece by hand in her Chicago studio, including drilling all holes and designing each piece.
