Katharine Dress - Black with White Pin Dots
We love the simplicity and elegance of this Katharine Dress! You can style it so many ways: add a colorful cardigan for a pop of color or show off a bright and bold statement necklace against the gentle polka dot motif. Want to glam it up? All you need are some sparkling accessories for a night out on the town.
Our Katharine dress has a high, round neckline with cap sleeves. It also features an attached sash for the waist and a full, knee-length skirt.
Like all of our dresses, the Katharine Dress is proudly made in the U.S. from our Micro-Fiber fabric that's machine washable and wrinkle free!
The Katharine Dress is also available in the following prints:
U.S. Customers: We offer FREE RETURN Shipping labels to U.S. customers only. You can return your item for a refund within 14 days from date of delivery. Items purchased from our Sale Section are NOT eligible for a refund and are only eligible for exchanges or store credit.
International Customers: We apologize that we can not offer our International Customers return shipping labels. If you live outside the United States and need to return your purchase, you are responsible for your own return shipping charges.
Our dresses are made from a micro-fiber blend of polyester and spandex. Even though this a synthetic fabric, it is very breathable and has beautiful drape. This is not your 70s polyester! We take great care in finding and designing high quality fabric that meets our specifications.
We recommend machine washing your Karina Dress in cold water on the delicate cycle. Let it air-dry flat. To preserve the longevity, we also recommend keeping your dress folded rather than on a hanger. Since our micro-fiber is wrinkle free, you'll never have to worry about ironing!
Follow these directions and your new dress will last you at least 10 years - maybe longer!

What's your favorite Karina style and why?
I first bought a Lauren 10 years ago now, and still wear it!! But lately, Katharine is my staple -- it's got perfect lines and hits me right at the knee, which feels sensible enough for work and playful enough for the weekend. And Ruby might be my new favorite -- I often have to pin wrap dresses because the v goes too low, but the Ruby neckline hits a bit higher than most wrap dresses, which I like.
How would you describe your personal style?
My personal style is a mash up of times past -- a mixture of mod patterns and A-line skirts with secretary dresses and a good 80s puffed sleeve. I love mixing patterns and bright colors, have a definite thing for plaid, and have been known to pair fabrics in unconventional ways. Many of my clothes come from second-hand shops and are altered in some way -- I'm always letting down hems or adding buttons to mix things up a little. Shoes and earrings are my favorite accessories, and I'm always on the lookout for neat vintage glasses frames.
What do you do for work?
I'm a college professor, and teach teachers how to teach. Karina dresses are the perfect uniform, rain or shine, snow or sun.
