Founder / Designer / CEO
Karina began her interest in fashion at a young age. Her mother taught her how to sew with an appreciation for hard work and attention to detail. She carried those lessons into adult life when she started making clothing for herself. Karina felt she needed a dress that would go from day to night, yet feel comfortable all while still being easy to care for in her busy life.
With all this in mind, she launched a dress company from her home in Upstate New York in 2008. Her vision was to create dresses for every woman. Karina felt there was a real need for a fashion line that celebrates women and promotes positivity. She truly believes in the innate beauty of women when they accept and love themselves as they are.
Besides creating and overseeing her own successful clothing company, Karina loves thrift and antique shopping, cooking, volunteering and interior design. She's a passionate animal lover - you've probably noticed her dog, Bodhi, in our logo! She also has two adorable cats named Gracie and Henry.
EMILY GEANACOPOULOS (lovemykarinadress.emily@gmail.com)
Design Assistant / Textile Design / Social Media Manager
Emily is our Creative Art Director and wears many hats at Karina Dresses! Not only does she collaborate with Karina on our signature prints and style development, she also designs graphics for our website and newsletters. She is the liaison to our Brand Ambassador program and if this wasn't enough, Emily is key with sales, social media and promotion strategies. She is truly amazing!
Before coming to Karina Dresses, Emily worked as a buyer/manager for one of the first shops in Brooklyn to carry the line - so it's almost like she's been a part of the Karina Family for our entire 10 years. If you have a question about a discontinued style, feel free to email her!

Shipping Manager / Customer Service Specialist / Jr. Design Assistant
Chances are if you've ever emailed us, you've corresponded with Calista! Not only does she handle all of our shipping, returns and customer questions, she also played a huge part in developing our Karina Kids line debuting in April.
Besides being an all around rock star here at the office, Cali is incredibly talented designer and seamstress in her own right. She's working on her own line of children's clothes inspired by classic fairy tales. Check out her website: www.calistaallendesigns.com
RUBI ROSE
Rubi is our house photographer! She photographs for our online shop and (select) digital and prints ads. Her personal projects have utilized a wide range of formats, including black-and-white, color, large-format 4x5 and digital. Luis and Imelda lead our Brooklyn production staff. They make our vision come alive! This talented team of sewers have been producing Karina Dresses for over 5 years now! We are very grateful for their hard work and attention to detail. They make us proud to be a USA made company!
KINGSTON PRODUCTION TEAM
Jay and Theresa lead our production team here in the Hudson Valley. We started working with them in late 2016 and we are excited to see their team grow. Jay is a talented tailor and designer with several years of experience. Theresa began as our intern in early 2017 and we are so happy to be able to have her join our production team with a full-time position.
