Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, or something else, decorating and filling your home with lots of holiday cheer is a must. Even better when you have a fabulous dress! Decorating the tree is always one of my favorite holiday activities. Here are my three tips for decorating your home for the holidays:
1. Choose a neutral color theme & add in pops of color. I went with silver and gold, because it's easy to add in some fun Christmas tones with the rest of the decorations throughout the house, and it's easy to match no matter what you find and fall in love with.
2. Always add lights! Lights on the tree, mantle, railing up the stairs - everywhere! There's always something cheerful about lots of sparkle and lighting this time of year.
3. Let the kids help. This time of year is more exciting for them than it is for you, and the most exciting part for us adults is seeing the excitement in their eyes. Let them help! I promise, seeing their faces will make the whole season amazing.
