Another beautiful + inspiring fashionista for your reading pleasure – Leticia Adams!

Name: Leticia Adams
Age: Unbelievably…over 35
Location: Manhattan, NYC, USA

Favorite Karina dress:
My favorite Karina dress is certainly the Audrey!  It’s so easy and flattering to wear – I have worn it to work, to play and to dates.  I’ve worn it alone in summer or with a cardigan in cooler weather.

What are your every day, must-reads, online or off?
The first thing I read every day is a note from the Universe in my email.

I have a subscription to O, the Oprah Magazine, Yoga Journal and Entertainment Weekly.

I read a book every night before bed – it dissolves the stress of the day.  Right now I’m reading The Journals of Spalding Gray.  Fascinating to see into the mind of a great artist.

How do you stay excited and motivated during the long, cold winter?
This winter has been so mild that I haven’t suffered the winter blues (yet) but normally I just try to keep to a schedule of regular exercise.  Twice weekly Yoga class keeps my mind and body in balance.

What are your top three style tricks?
I love fashion, but you have to understand what works best with your body. Even if I love a certain look on someone else, if it doesn’t flatter me, I don’t wear it.

I like to elongate my legs with heels – I was never allowed to wear them as a kid, so I’m working it out now.

One thing I have learned recently is the importance of good foundational underwear!  A slip under a dress can really transform the way it looks!

If you could give a piece of advice to your 16-year-old self, what would you say?
Forget about how you look – it’s a waste of time.  What your body can do is infinitely more important than what it looks like.

Your perfect day.  What would it look like?
My perfect day would start early with exercise and end with restful sleep.  The middle would likely include laughing with my family and friends.  Also great food and wine!  Now that I think about it, I have a lot of perfect days!

Thanks for sharing with us, Leticia!
