Every month our intrepid leader Karina Cousineau tells us where she’s been finding inspiration lately.  Here’s what she loves in December!

1. Brussels sprouts
Here’s my  favorite recipe for these low fat, low cholesterol veggies.  They’re a great source of thiamine, riboflavin, iron, magnesium, potassium  with vitamins A, B6, C and K.

Wash and trim off stems and loose leaves.
Boil 7- 10 minutes.
Serve in a bowl with olive oil, sliced almonds, and cardamon. Yum!

2. Slowing down

Something I have been practicing more of is the importance of slowing down.  Often, it’s during those times when I allow my mind to rest that I find my best ideas.  Three new dresses have been designed in these moments recently :)

3. Stripes
My love of stripes is just as strong as my love of polka dots.  They’ll definitely be showing up in my spring wrap dresses!

4. Charade

I recently re-watched one of my favorite movies “Charade” with Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. It’s funny and filled with great style –  a must see!

5. Bodhi in orange
Bodhi loves the winter because he loves sweaters!  He’s especially handsome in this handmade, orange cashmere number.
