Designer Karina Cousineau gives us a sneak peek at the Spring 2013 Karina Dress collection. Read on and see what’s new straight from our frockstar founder herself!
I’m so excited about this season- especially since we’ll be introducing three new dress styles to the Karina Dresses line. The new dresses, like our other styles, are inspired by our customers: the lovely ladies of the Karina Nation! We continue to make dresses for the modern, feminine, busy woman, living their lives on-the-go. Since women wear our dresses from day straight into night, we’ve had requests for a new style with a more modest neckline for the work day, but a still slightly sexy for whatever fun comes after work .
Clara, one of our newest styles, has a lovely, slouchy cowl neck. You’ll find it conservative, flattering, and contemporary. Ruby, our second new style, is a faux wrap dress that comes with a stylish high collar. This design covers the bodice beautifully while still evoking a subtle sexiness. It’s knee length, making it nearly perfect for all occasions. And, our third new dress style, well my dears, I’m going to keep it under wraps for now, and share it with you in next month’s newsletter!
The fabrics I choose are always soft, breathable and washable. While our specific fabrics vary from season to season, you can be sure that for Spring /Summer 2013 we’ll have our signature brighter, vintage-inspired prints, but also darker, more conservative options as well. When it comes to the right print for the right place we’ve got you covered! My goal is to give you a dress with a great fit, so you can feel confident and comfortable at all times. Time is precious, so our fabrics are all machine washable and never need ironing. This leaves you more time for more important things- like picking out shoes : )
I believe Spring /Summer 2013 is going to be our strongest collection yet, and I’m confident you’re going to love your Karina Dress more than ever!
