We recently donated several thousand dollars worth of dresses to the amazing sisters at CHIPS Soup Kitchen & Women’s Shelter in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Our co-owner Garnet Heraman once volunteered at CHIPS as a cook in their kitchen. That’s how we first learned about the important work they do to support women and their families through The Frances Residency Program. The program provides transitional homes for nine prenatal and postpartum homeless women and their infants. The women can stay up to twelve months while they are working toward self-reliance and the acquisition of permanent housing. We are excited to support such an excellent cause & look forward to doing much more for the ladies served by CHIPS.
